![]() ![]() I plan on being an archival librarian one day, so I, too, prefer books. However, since I moved to MA, where space is at a premium (think of the size of MA! LOL) I just can't put books anywhere. I know a lot of people love to own the books and I do too. My library also knows that when a new large print book is purchased, I'll be putting a hold on it (we have Wowbrary, which sends me an email every week on books purchased that week by my library). My library has a ton of large print King books. They sell for $25 or less, which is worth it to me as long as I can read it. I'm looking at buying one of the original hardcover copies of It on eBay (and the same for The Stand uncut). Pocket Books are so much more readable than Signet.ĭo you guys know any easy to read copies of It (or the Stand, for that matter?) I'd personally love it if Simon and Schuster began to do the reprints for these two novels. I would be willing to have a copy of the book that is nearly 300 pages longer, as long as I can read it. It was the first King novel I ever owned, but I simply can't finish it because of the font. I usually struggle on but eventually I have to quit due to headaches. I've had It for years, and and I've had to quit repeatedly because the font size on the book I own (Signet reprint mass market paperback) is simply way too small. I read Under the Dome in about a week, and 11/22/63 in about 4 days. I have an incredibly endurance with books, especially Stephen King ones. This isn't really about the book's content, it's more about my ability to read it.
